The former Atletico Madrid striker is keeping a close eye on the development of a compatriot, he hopes to eventually become a legend at the Spanish capital.
Fede Valverde is capable of getting Real Madrid’s midfield variant of Sergio Ramos, asserts Diego Forlan, together with all the Uruguay global expected to flourish in Spain.

Forlan informed Radio Marca: “He has the qualities to keep growing. He is a fantastic professional, a fantastic boy.
“I am not in any way surprised by what I am seeing of him because [his qualities] were there.
“He’s gaining confidence, maturity, expertise and is a participant that Real Madrid’s fans will love for several decades.
“I will risk saying he could become precisely what Sergio Ramos was as a leader.”
“I am not amazed by his development since it includes age.
“Nowadays he is realising where he is and he is [now obtained ] the maturity of existence. That will help him a great deal; the confidence, maturity, understanding the conditions he’s and that he’s valued a good deal in the club”
Valverde isn’t the exciting talent that Forlan is currently keeping a close watch on.
His employers at Atletico spent in Portuguese starlet Joao Felix before their 2019-20 campaign.
The 2019 winner of this prestigious Golden Boy award has not made the instant impression due to him Wanda Metropolitano, but Forlan claims the 20-year-old only needs patience so as to show his worth.
